If it is a general rank then you can not get in it, especially CSE branch You can't get admission only if you use the home quota other branch you can get at this rank. If it is your category rank you can definitely get an NIT college CSE branch with home state quota that offers. According to last year data you can get a seat in Vit Vellore as you have around under 40000 but you lie in category 4 so your fees would be around 4 to 5 lakhs.

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalay cutoff for the BTech course is based on JEE Main ranks followed by the JEE Main Counselling. The university offers admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. As per the RGPV cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE stood closed at 122582 for the General All India category students.During the RGPV cutoff 2022, the Round 1 closing cutoff for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 103402 and in 2021, it was 96146. NITs are renowned for their engineering programs across various disciplines. The rank of 5800 JEE Mains might get you a seat in some of the top NITs, depending on specific NIT and the branch availability. NIT is a government recognised institute which might help you secure better positions in future. You must consider your choice on the basis of the branch you would persue. On the other hand IIIT Banglore being a private institue may lack in teaching infrastructure in making students industry ready.

You can Take alternative engineering entrance exams, like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, and AEEE, hold their own entrance exams for admission to B.Tech programs. Their is another option for you is the, you can take drop and study better and Gain good marks in next year. You have two option, choose wisely.
