Though there is no official data available for placements on the official site of Techno main Salt College but according to the students, the highest package offered is 45 LPA with average package of 4-5 LPA. The lowest package was given of 2.8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture and many more. For the college which is ranked 4th in West Bengal the placement numbers are a bit low.

There are 4 ways to get admission in Techno Main Salt Lake College:1. WBJEE2. JEE Mains3. Direct Admission4. Management QuotaFor WBJEE and JEE Mains the eligibility criteria is based on the rank in the exam. The cutoff generally goes to rank 9000-10000 for CSE branch.They also accept direct admission on merit base on 12th boards exam. The eligibility criteria is the student must have 65% or above in their 12th board examination.
