Aliah University allows students to get admission on the merit basis, still preference is given to the students having a rank in the related entrance examinations. For B.Tech CSE the accepted examinations are: WBJEE and JEEThere is no such cuttoff for the admission, the students get admission based on their rank in WBJEE. If you have got rank 4000-6000 you have a great chance to get seat in the University.
