As per the UIET Chandigarh, cutoff for Round 4 in 2023, the closing ranks for all BE specialisations ranged from 44170 to 146444. The most competitive specialisation has been Computer Science and Engineering with a closing rank of 44170, followed by Information Technology with 53185 rank.Analysis of cut offs for previous years for Computer Science and Engineering reveals that, UIET Chandigarh has seen a declining trend compared to 2022. When compared from 2021 to 2022, it shows improving trend. The Cutoff for Computer Science and Engineering in Round 4 was 36201 in 2021 and 34583 in 2022 respectively.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIIT Guwahati) offerd two years M.Tech programme under multiple sprcialisations, including Computer Science & Engineering. The BTech CSE eligibility criteria is as follows:Candidates with BE/BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology / equivalent programme.Candidates with MSc (Computer Science/Information Technology) Graduates (AMIETE) from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Computer Science and EngineeringMCA from a recognised Institution.NOTE: Candidates with any one of the above mentioned eligibility criteria will be eligible for admission.
