 To be eligible for the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at MIT-WPU Pune, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50–60% overall marks.They should have studied Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and can choose Chemistry, Technical Vocational, or Biotechnology as an optional subject. Candidates must have appeared for the MHT-CET or JEE Main exam. Those from reserved or backward categories in Maharashtra can get a 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate marks requirement. MIT-WPU also accepts SAT scores.The selection for B.Tech. programs is based on the entrance exam score and a Statement of Purpose.

On paper, a COMEDK rank of 46147 appears to make getting CSE in Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT) an uphill task. This is because CSE is a very competitive branch and most colleges allocate seats based on higher ranks for this core program.It is still possible to secure a seat through management quota or in few other branches if one is flexible with the specialisation. Here are a few suggestions:1. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT): CSE is difficult, check if any quotas are available for Information Science Engineering (ISE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), which are more likely to secure a seat at your rank.2. Some other good colleges in Bangalore: You can get into other colleges also under CSE or similar branches at Bangalore in line with your ranking:New Horizon College of Engineering: One with different branches in engineering programs: but may not be that bad for branches like ISE, ECE, or EEE.Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT): Flexible in branch one would be able to get use of Information Science or Electronics and Communication.R. V. College of Engineering (RVCE): This college is too big for CSE, so you can look for other branches or for management quota.Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE): Known for different branches of engineering, your rank might help in getting into ISE or ECE.PES University: Again a very high rank, although casually management quota might help in CSE or anything else.3. Others: KS School of Engineering and Management: It has a wide range of courses from engineering. Other than Computer science, you might have a chance here.
