Rank in JEE Mains for the OBC category at 279,172 would mean the probability of getting a seat in the government college for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top institutes is very low. Top NITs and IIITs take students who have ranks from 10,000 to 30,000 in CSE. But chances are available in low-ranking NITs or government-funded technical institutes providing CSE in the OBC category. It is advisable to look for options like state government engineering colleges, private universities, or new institutes. Also, one can appear for other entrance exams or apply for branch sliding in later years.

See, with 87% in 12th, and 77%lie in JEE Mains you have fairly good chance to get CSE in privite Engg. colleges, but will be quite hard to get in any of the government colleges.Few of the colleges that you can consider, those give admission based on the 12th percentage are:Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University)Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in SolanSAGE UniversityAssam Down Town UniversitySymbiosis University of Applied SciencesReserach well on all the colleges before joining them, that they matches the facilities you prefer to get there. All the Best.

With a JEE Mains rank of 90,000 and 150 marks in the OBC category, you might be able to secure a seat in a decent engineering college for CSE, but it's likely to be a lower-ranked NIT or a good private engineering college, not necessarily a top-tier institute; you should focus on exploring options in newer NITs or state-level engineering colleges.  Possible options to consider:Newer NITs: NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Puducherry, NIT Agartala.  State-level engineering colleges: Some well-regarded state colleges might offer CSE seats at a relatively lower rank in the OBC category.

The difficulty in getting a seat into Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top/very renowned universities is that its rank is 80,000 in TS EAMCET. You may face difficulties in getting seats even in lesser-known or some private colleges. There would be tough competition from their side for some private college/university, as that institution might provide CSE seats to the candidate given this rank.

With a rank of 87,834 in TS EAPCET/EAMCET, you may find it a bit tough to get admission in the engineering seat through Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or CSE with specialisation in the government colleges. But there will be a scope for admissions in private engineering colleges and some lower ranked government colleges depending upon the category General/SC/ST/OBC as well as availability of seats. For better prospects, one can opt for the specializations in CSE such as AI, Data Science, or IT. Chances are that their cutoffs may be less as compared to general CSE. It is advisable to check the latest cutoff trends.
