Entirely depends on which type of training, you are referring to
You can opt for short term 6 months or 1 year training courses for various computer languages but to enroll in a proper university or a college it will not be possible.

In order to get into VIT you need to be in top 1 Lakh. If you aren't in top 1 lakh in VITEEE you can't get admission in B.Tech programs.

If you are from Tamil Nadu you can get CS branch but if you're not, there are equal chances of you getting or not getting it.

B.Sc. Chemistry is better because this provides great job opportunities in teaching, government. PSUs and private sectors. While B.Sc. CS have main scope in private sectors and having less opportunities in government and PSU sectors. So, my choice is B.Sc-Chemistry.
