Hello Zafaryab,
If you are going to study in a minority institution, then 50% seats are reserved for this minority, however if you are thinking for seeking admission in normal Institution then there is no separate quota for Muslims and hence you come into the general category of students who have 50% seats for themselves. Normally for Ph.D. entrance examinations the minimum marks required to be scored is set at 50% but it depends from institute to Institute and you can check on the website of your intended Institute as to the minimum passing marks in the entrance exam for Ph.D. Best wishes to you.

Hi Vikrant, you are no doubt eligible to apply, rest will depend on your profile meaning your extracurriculars, LOR, SOP etc. Applying early also increases admission probability. Never wait till the last date or last round.

Hello Tanmay, Your ranks are used for admission and there is no particular scores which are fixed for admission into the colleges. The ranks vary every year and so it is difficult to predict the colleges that you can get. So, after seeing your ranks, we can conclude your admission chances. And, why do you aim for just 100-129? Try to score around 200-250 so that you might not doubt your chances.
