Candidates who have passed BCA/ BSc Computer Science/ BSc IT/ BE CSE/ BTech CSE/ BE IT/ BTech IT or equivalent degree or any graduation preferably with Mathematics at Class 12 level or at graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for the Poornima University MCA course. Additionally, the selection for MCA course will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Additionally, MCA is a two-year course offered in four specialisations, namely General, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Cyber Security, AI & ML with knowledge partner SAS through Faculty of Computer Science Engineering.

MCA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. Poornima University admission to MCA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates need to pass BCA/ BSc Computer Science/ BSc IT/ BE CSE/ BTech CSE/ BE IT/ BTech IT or equivalent degree or any graduation preferably with Mathematics at Class 12 level or at graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for the MCA course.After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents. Candidates need to pay fee to confirm their seat in the university.

GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies (GIPS) accepts the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for admission to its Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program.  GIPS also accepts other entrance exam scores for admission to BCA:10+2 with 45% marks, or 40% for SC/ST10+2 with 45% marks and 33% for SC/ST with Maths as compulsory subject10+2 with Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or Commerce with Mathematics10+2 with 60% Marks  In addition to entrance exam scores, applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade to be eligible for admission to BCA.
