The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at NIELIT Guwahati is a 3 year programme which divided into 6 semester. The programme covers various aspects of computer applications and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer Science and its applications. The basic eligibility criteria is 45% Candidates must have completed 10+2 in Science/ Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of mentioned marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category) preferably with Computer Science/ Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 from a recognised board . The best branch in BCA would depend on individual interests and career goals

Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCM from a recognised school is the basic eligibility for BCA offered at Invertis University. For general BCA, Maths is not compulsory. SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible for the programme.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate can apply for IISE Lucknow BCA programme. Further, aspirants also need to qualify the admission test conducted by the college.

BCA is a three year undergraduate degree programme offered by IISE Lucknow. The college offers BCA degree in affiliation with Lucknow University. The degree of BCA of the University of Lucknow shall be awarded to aspirants who have pursued a regular course of study in the university and have fulfilled all the conditions and have passed the prescribed examinations.
