Application fees for the MCA programme is INR 1200. VIT Bhopal accepts VITMEE for both MCA and M.Tech program. Eligibility for which is a graduation degree in relevant field such as BCA for MCA and B.Tech for M.Tech from a recognised university.

The University has not released the separate placement data for BCA. As per the overall placement statistics, the median package offered to the 2022 passing out UG (3-year) batch was INR 2.40 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during 2021 CSJMU placements was INR 2.10 LPA. BCA is one of the top course of DYPIU Pune. In the third year of the course, students are open to two specialisations, namely Mobile Applications and Cloud Technology & Information Security. Candidates after completing BCA from the university are open to multiple placement opportunities. During 2021 placement, the highest package offered to BCA students was INR 15 LPA. A total of 42 offers were made to BCA students of the university.
