BCA at BN College is a three-year programme, further divided into six semesters. Each semester lasts six months. The BCA curriculum followed at the college is prescribed by the affiliating university, i.e. Patna University. It comprises various theoretical and practical subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. The subjects included in the curriculum for the first year are more basic and foundational. They focus primarily on computer devices, operating systems, basic programming techniques, etc. The curriculum gets more advanced after the first year, with the focus shifting towards advanced programming languages, Big Data analysis, computer networks, etc.

BCA is one of the Vocational Courses offered by BN College in affiliation with Patna University. To complete the BN College BCA application process, aspirants must follow the below given steps:Step 1 : Visit the official Patna University website and sign up to generate 'Application ID' & 'Password'.Step 2 : Login using the generated credentials.Step 3 : Fill out the application form and pay the application fee online.Step 4 : Save/Print the submitted application form and fee reciept for future reference.Step 5 : After submitting the application form & application fee, click on the 'Home' button.Step 6 : Click on 'Proceed to fill choice' and choose BN College among the affiliated colleges & BCA from the available courses.Step 7 : Click on 'Submit'.

BN College has not released the course-specific report on BCA placements. As per the latest NIRF report, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students was INR 4.8 LPA. As per some BN College student reviews available on Shiksha.com, TCS, Wipro, Maruti and Guard are some companies that visit the college for placements. According to ta recent review posted by a BCA student, more than 60% of students are placed every year. The highest salary package is INR 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package is INR 4.6 LPA. Another reviewer asserted that the average salary package one can expect is around INR 2.5 LPA to INR 3.7 LPA. On the other hand, some reviewers highlighted the insufficiency of placement opportunities. Hence, it is hard ascertain if BCA placements at BN college are good.
