You can also contact the Alwar Education Department or the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India for more information about the available courses and colleges that offer them. Additionally, you can try searching online for baking courses and schools that offer them in India or consider online courses in baking as an alternative.

Hi Simran, For Any Jobs in this line - Hotels / Chefs / Bakers / Restaurants - you need to have a minimum qualification of Hotel Management in your specialised area (Bachelors Degree preferably, PG Diploma is also fine if you are already a graduate). MBA in this field will fetch you a much better job. And this rule applies to all over the world. Lot of countries give preferences if course is done from their own country. For Mauritius Indian degrees / Diploma are acceptable.

A degree or a certificate course in bakery and confectionery programs or a degree in hotel management serves as the best route for progression in this profession. Most bakers enter the baking profession by working as apprentices or on-the-job trainee at commercial bakeries, patisseries or supermarkets under the wing of an experienced baker.
