The method of acceptance in Contract Law can be expressively stated in writing or verbally or implied through action or conduct. In order for acceptance to be reasonable, certain conditions must be met. These are mutual assent, adequate consideration in a contract, capacity, and legality.

Contractual obligations are the norms that everyone commit to when they sign a contract. The most common types of contractual responsibilities include timelines, delivery, performance obligations, payment terms, penalties, termination terms, non-compete and non-disclosure obligations.
