In order to get admission in BCT you need to have HSC or equivalent recognised exam with English, physics, chemistry and biology with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% for reserved category.

Yes, you can. It depends if you meet the admission requirements. Talking about the gap, this will depend on the nature of your gap whether you prepared for some exams or gained work experience etc. You may have to submit a statement of activity to the university along with your SOP to justify your gap.

Hi,
Educational requirements to become a cosmetologist:
Though there is no formal qualification mandatory to become a cosmetologist, although, many industries will require you to attend a cosmetology school and be at least 16 years of age. There are various diploma and other courses with specialisations that may result in earning an associate degree. Many polytechnics and vocational institutes offer courses in beauty care/cosmetology. Most people in this field continue to take courses that help them stay in line with the latest trends.

Hi Madhu,
The basic requirement to practice medical cosmetology is a medical degree from any reputed medical college. But dermatologists, physicians, dentists with a Diploma or Masters degree in dermatology, may also practice medical cosmetology. Domain knowledge in science is essential as they work on skin, muscles, tissues and veins/ arteries. To perform an advanced cosmetic treatment, a degree in medicine is a must.
After completing an MBBS degree, candidates may undergo a training/ certification programme in order to become a specialist or a trainer.
