If you are from a science background and want your career in computer Science, please do B.Tech CS instead of B.Sc. Hons CS!
There is no value of B.Sc. Hons CS eventually you will have to do M.Sc. Or MCA. Companies prefer B.Tech students over B.Sc/BCA/MCA/M.Sc students. Even if you get a job, the package will be low. After B.Sc. You will not be eligible for GATE. Now, if you are from a commerce background then do BCA instead of B.Sc. CS as it will give you more practical knowledge!
All the best!

MS is best if you are interested in research and for doing Ph.D in foreign universities where M.Tech is more academic oriented. MS in India in IISC or IIT is good and have better placements. For MS in US, you have to spend more money than here. M.Tech has good placements. The highest offer for M.Tech in CS dept in 2017 batch in IIT Madras is 1.82 crore if you care for good job you can take up M.Tech while MS is research oriented
Good luck.

To pursue BCA you can join from Science, Commerce and Arts background. But, to pursue B.Tech or B.Sc CS you'll need a solid background of mathematics. B.Sc CS is a General Course and BCA is a Technical Course, so getting job from BCA is easy than B.Sc CS. After B.Sc CS you can do M.Sc CS or MCA both.

Hi Nikita,
BCA B.Sc BA are graduation courses, which you can complete in three years only and you will get your graduation certificate. In these courses, you study only the basics of computer Science. While in BE or B.Tech, you will get full knowledge about the computer programming languages. It will take four years and cover almost all the subjects of computer Science engineering. Chances of getting a job is more in B.Tech courses. Best of luck.

Hello S Som,
Without any doubts the most preferred branch of engineering these days is CSE, IT. Then as per the orientation of the person, he will priorities other branches. Recently AICTE allowed almost 2L seats of engineering colleges to be scrapped. As per one report these belonged to Civil, Aeronautical and some exotic branches. Be that as it may, always remember "there is always room at the top". Meaning hard work always pays irrespective of branch. I would like to advise you that please select the stream of studies that fascinates you the most. Best wishes to you.
