B.Com courses don't have a very high market value unless and until a student pursues some business course like MBA or M.Com. Whereas, B.Com (Hons) being a specialization course, it offers better opportunities and good packages. It is highly valued by the business industry.

Always remember, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals. After completing B.Tech, you have two options:
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line. You have another option with you, i.e. you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. Both fields have good career options, these courses are totally different to each other if you are interested in agriculture, you want to make your career in the field of farming, horticulture, agriculture, etc. then go for B. Sc. agriculture. This field never runs out of job opportunities, or if you are interested in technology, you want to become an engineer then go for B. Tech.

B.Sc is a better option as it will have a better career scope as compared to a Diploma.
