Hello Santhanu,
Both are entirely different courses. B.Tech food technology makes you employ in food and food preservative industries like ITC. As a food technologist you'll earn 2-3 lacs/annum as a fresher and 6-12 lacs/ annum as experienced professional. Your career can be QA/QC in manufacturing industries too. Else, B.Pharma makes you employ in any pharma sector within 1.8 lacs-2.5 lacs/annum but Masters in M.Pharma is important for a decent pay scale.

Dear Vipin,
B.Tech would be of 4 years and you will get the chance to do 3 core industrial internship throughout your course. Whereas, B.Sc is of 3 years. You may not get the in-depth knowledge as like in B.Tech. Hence you may get higher chances of getting hired after B.Tech rather B.Sc.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

B.Sc. Hons has more advantages than doing a regular B.Sc. Degree because of several reasons:
*You get a very strong background in your owner subject so that would help to take you a long way
*Some universities for PG programs ask only for applicants with the owner degree. But there are no universities who asks specifically for B.Sc. Students that is if you are on a student you can apply anywhere without any restrictions. *If you wish to take up a career in Academics then having an Honours degree in the subject for which you wish to apply for a teaching position definitely gives you an edge over others. The B.Sc. Hons is considered to be

Computer Science is the base level so you have to be more strong in that particular subject whereas IT is also good in terms of scope. From scope if you want to have a job earlier you can opt for IT.

The definition of better varies from person to person and is influenced by personal inclinations and ones strength for e.g. some people might go with a regular stream like CS mechanical, electronics and some might go with not so common branches like robotics, petroleum and mining. Opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.
