The same difference B.Sc and B.Tech has. B.Sc in aeronautics is all about the theory or the science of flight whereas AME is more coveted as it involves more practical knowledge. AME is the person who looks after the aircraft but is taught by B.Sc or M.Sc.

Hi,
Aviation and aeronautics are both fields that deal with flying and aircraft. Aeronautics is generally taught as a subset or concentration in aerospace engineering. Aeronautics is the science of flight, including the design, construction, and the laws of physics which govern it, while aviation is the operation of heavier-than-air aircraft and the industry, commerce, regulation, and usage that surrounds it.
