IIIT Nagpur BTech admissions are not possible without the JEE Main scores. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur course admissions are entirely entrance-examination based. Based on the admission control norms in existence at the KJ College of Engineering & Management Research for admission to the B.E./B.Tech course is carried out with respect to the candidate's performance on the MHT-CET or the JEE Main. Passing one of these examinations is compulsory for the admission of any candidate. For this purpose, the college also takes into account the 12th standard marks of the candidate with minimum 50% marks in PCM taken together. The final list of students is drawn according to merit which is calculated as follows the entrance exam carry 70% weightage and 12th standard 30%.
