The admission guidelines for the B.E. / B.Tech programme offered at GMRIT are the score of the candidate in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. The necessary academic qualification required for any aspirants to be able to write this examination is 10 + 2 conducted by any recognised board/ university with minimum of forty five percent marks for general category and forty percent for SC & ST/ PWD candidates in the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission, the candidates have to clear Class 12 examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics aggregate. The colleges conduct admissions through the Centralized Admission Process of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. To be precise, these cut-off scores change annually, and also, depending on the category. Direct admissions can be given under management seat also, but only after the condition laid down by AICTE and Maharashtra state government are met.
