Both the terms have different meaning, Software developer means works on coding. But, an engineer is mixture of developer, tester and Coder. All lie in an engineer.

Dear Sai,
As there is more demand of software engineer, I would suggest you do B.Tech. There is more demand for B.Tech graduates and after doing engineering you will have more job opportunities rather than after doing BCA. The second thing, it is only software engineers who get high salary packages.

If you have completed 12th class . you can joint BCA course their is not any requirement.

Hi,
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
- Past Academic record.
- Scores in entrance tests.
- Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview.
- Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
- Written Test (WT).
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI).
