Yes, you can pursue a dietitian and nutrition course via distance mode. To be sure that you get a valid certificate, you should check college accreditation before proceeding to study in that particular college.

To do the Bachelors programme in nutrition and dietetics, one should have completed intermediate in Science with physics, chemistry and biology. The B.Sc. (Food Science and Nutrition) is a 3-year programme. You may not be eligible to pursue a B.Sc. Course in nutrition and dietetics.
What it takes to join Career in Nutrition and Dietetics Course:
10+2 passed from a recognised board (or equivalent) with Science.
or
10+2 passed from a recognised board (or equivalent) with home Science.
Please check for your eligibility before applying to a college/university for this particular course.
