Graduates of librarian courses, including the BLibSc programme, will have the chance to work for companies that require to manage and storing a great deal of information. After completing this programme, students who enjoy reading will be more motivated to seek a career since they will have gained more knowledge about handling and organising books and information. BLIS degree admission can be taken after passing the UG degree exam with 50% marks. Complete eligibility for IGNOU BLIS one-year programme has been further mentioned. The submission of the IGNOU BLIS Assignment for June TEE is ongoing, the deadline to submit it is 05 April 2023.

IGNOU will soon commence the Librarian course admission for January 2023 session. Students can generally enroll till 30 March 2023 (Tentative). The one-year Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program is open to enrollment during both the academic and calendar year cycles.
