Flying schools charges are based on fuel prices, fleet, instructors, navigational facilities available, ground classes and the infrastructure available.
Fees is irrespective of the location of the flying school.

The fee structure is not fixed hence. Still for Cessna 152 the per hour charge is approximately INR 7000 - 9000.
For Cessna 172 it ranges from INR 9000 - 11000.
And for most multi engine aircrafts the per hour charge ranges from INR 15000 - 20000.
You will have to complete 200 hours to get a CPL license issued by DGCA India.
The accommodation, transportation and documentation charges are paid above the per hour charge. So decide wisely.

Eligibility Criteria for CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence)
Candidate must be aged at least 18 years.
Able to understand, speak, read and write English for Commercial Pilot License.
Must have acquired Private Pilot License or must fulfill its requirement to obtain it.
200 hours of flying along with PPL 60 hours is required.
Medically fit.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must have to clear the entrance exam before joining the course. Candidates must passed Bachelor's degree like Engineering with Physics and Maths subject of 55% marks along with 10+2 examination. Pilot aptitude test will be conducted during entrance exam. After clearing that, direct interview will be conducted by an Interview Control Board.

Pilot & animation are two different careers. If your son wants to take up animation as a career, he should be prepared to draw (sketching) & paint. He cannot rise high in a career in Animation unless he develops excellent drawing & painting skills (mainly drawing). Robotics is again a different field. He will have to take up a career in engineering in computer science to become a robotics engineer. A Robot is an interdepartmental engineering application requiring skills of a computer engineer, electronics engineer, mechanical engineer, materials engineer, etc. I can assure you that if your son does animation degree course from a good college, he will have no problem in finding a job. Rather companies always look for good animators. He can become a storyboard artist, animatics artist, layout & background artist (also called the concept artist), animation artist, compositing artist, rigging artist, modeller, VFX artist, etc. Remember that 2d animation is the key. Without strong fundamentals, he will not go far. Starting salary can be from Rs. 15-25,000/- per month. He can reach in 3-5 years yearly salaries of Rs. 4-6 LPA. He can also think about a career in game designing as a game artist, which is a specialisation of animation. There is a huge demand for game artists. Game programmers are different people requiring computer science background. Basic pre-requisites to apply for a commercial pilot course is mentioned below:
1) You must complete Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in maths and physics.
2) You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License.
3) Alternatively, you could directly enroll for the Private Pilot License once you have cleared Class XII and are 17 years old. This involves taking an exam conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation* consisting of theory papers on air navigation, aviation meteorology, air regulation and technical aspects.
4) Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
5) General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
6) You need to complete the requisite number of hours, clear written papers and the medical examination. You need 70 percent marks to pass in each of these papers. You can keep appearing until you clear them.
