If you would like to be a pilot in the Indian Air Force, you can do so by taking the NDA entrance exam after Class XII (Phys & Math). In this case your training is free and you will be paid a decent stipend throughout your three years of training at the National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy. After this, you will be commissioned as a Flying Officer and posted as a pilot at an Air Force Station.
Note: Once you get into the air force, you cannot leave at your own discretion and there are legal tools to prevent IAF pilots from leaving the force. Pilots cannot be released unless they are not requ

Hello Manish,
Contrary to what you are saying, commercial airlines in India are forced to employ pilots from abroad. With a large number of aircrafts to be inducted, the requirement of pilots is bound to increase. Flying school in Rai Barreily is the best.

Hi Darshan,
Yes, you can, however, there is a risk. Though you can pursue the CPL training, you may not be easily accepted by any airline for the role of a pilot. Preferred height is more than 5'7 (minimum). There is no point investing in a course and not getting the ROI. You may look for ground jobs or aviation management jobs. There will always be scope within the aviation industry if you have the passion.
Good luck.

There are lots of flying schools in India, I suggest you to choose the one which have new and more aircrafts for training so that you can complete your training on time.
Second, you have to see about the ground classes.
The main difference between Govt and private flying clubs are you can complete your training sooner in private flying clubs then in government ones.
Private flying clubs are expensive then government ones.

Hello Ranjay,
I understand and appreciate your interest in the pilot training course. In order to pursue CPL training course, you have to complete class 12th with physics and maths and secure a minimum of 50% marks. After that, you can apply in any of the flying clubs in India or outside for your flight training, for your pilot licence you have to give some exams like DGCA. The total cost for training in India will be around 35 lakh rupees.
