The prominent challenge of studying Criminal Law in India is the vastness of the subject, as it encompasses a wide range of topics, and hence makes it difficult to keep up with the latest developments in the field. Other than that, the complexity of India's criminal justice system is another challenge. The criminal justice system of India is fragmented and often inefficient which makes it difficult for criminal lawyers to practice adequately.
