Self-study using an institutes material is sufficient enough to help you clear the foundation programme of CS. Your clarity in concepts of accounting and economics in class 12th is an added advantage and will help you feel at ease. Rest all can be prepared by the institutes material. Further, you can also have a look at the old questions of previous examinations.

Which level of graduation are you in? If you are in the final year, it is suggested that you go for CS executive directly after clearing your graduation. If you are in the first year or so, yes you can go for the foundation programme of ICSI.

Foundation Program
Executive Program
Professional Program
If you are a graduate, you may enroll directly for the Executive Program. The institute do not conduct any entrance exam for the same.
After qualifying the Professional Program, the candidate has to undergo Management training for a period of 15 months. Within this training program, the candidate has to undergo practical training in a CS firm.
Apart from this, the candidate has to go for another training of 15 days in the registrar of a company, Affiliated stock exchange, SEBI etc.
