CSEET shall be conducted through REMOTE Proctored mode instead of conducting the same from Test Centres. Candidates are allowed to appear for the CSEET using their own laptop or desktop from home/ such another convenient and isolated place. Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in CSEET by using a Mobile Phone, Tablet, Palmtop, etc. The duration of CSEET shall be 2 Hours, i.e. 120 minutes. Until the candidate is not logged in for the CSEET exam, he/she can use phone/mobile to contact the ICSI helpdesk for resolving technical queries and assistance with login for the CSEET exam. Once the candidate is logged in and the test process has commenced then candidates cannot use their phones/mobiles. Candidates appearing for the CSEET exam must take the following precautions:
1. The webcam must be installed in front of the system. The camera must be placed on the top of the monitor. Any other form of camera installation is not permitted.
2. Candidate's face must be fully framed.
3. Candidate's face must be in the center of the webcam and the eye focus and contact should be on screen only.

CSEET mock test is conducted to familiarise candidates to the actual test environment and also validate the compatibility of the software and hardware. If the candidate encounters any technical issue during the mock test they must contact the technical support notified on the email address sent to all the candidates. In case of disruptions during the CSEET online examination viz. , No network connection, no internet connectivity, power disruptions, network disconnection due to Wi-Fi disabled, or any other such scenarios, candidates will be allowed to log in again. 1. Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.

The total duration of the CSEET exam to attempt 140 questions is two hours.
