There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination four times in ayear i.e, January, May, July and November. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the four sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

ICSI will conduct the CSEET examination for a duration of two hours (120 minutes). Candidates will have to attempt 200 Multiple Choice Questions within the given duration. Candidates will not be given extra time under any circumstances. The question paper will be automatically submitted once the duration is over. ICSI conducts the CSEET exam in remote proctored mode.

CSEET total score is 200 marks. As pr the CSEET exam pattern, the question paper is divided into four sections viz., Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will consist of 35 questions constituting of one or two marks each. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attempted question.

ICSI conducts the CSEET exam. The question paper is divided across four sections viz, Business Communication, Current Affairs Economics and Business Environment and Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The number of questions in each section is as follows:
1. Business Communication: This section includes 35 questions. The total number of marks for this section is 50.
2. Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning: This section is divided into two parts. Part A- Legal Aptitude is of 25 marks and Part B- Logical reasoning is also of 25 marks. The total number of questions included in this section is 35
