If you are done with your M.Sc. Then yes, you can apply for CSIR UGC. You won't face any problems with that. All the best.

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research-National Eligibility Test:- It is a National Level exam which is conducted by NTA from December 2019 onwards, till then it was taken ahead by CSIR.
