Hello, Till now no notification has been updated regarding this. It is expected to be conducted in the month of July 2020. The dates have been shifted due to COVID-19. But now I think, it will not shift anymore. For the December session, no one can say what will happen. It will be updated as well. CSIR NET Exam is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, prepare yourself well. Best of Luck.

FIRST You have to clear this exam then you can apply for DRDO JRF.
The CSIR NET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. So, the difficulty level of the exam is quite hard to crack this exam.

Mathematical Science
Life Sciences
Earth Science
Chemical Sciences

Hello Sheetal, From Dec 2019, NTA is the conducting the CSIR NET to determine the eligibility of the candidates for assistant professor and JRF. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the NTA has extended the last date to apply for the exam till 30th June. You should check the form very carefully before the final submission. The candidates are allowed to make changes in the application form if they made any after the registration process ends. Hello Pankaj, Let me clear you that UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are conducted by NTA to determine the eligibility criteria for assistant professor and junior research fellowship. The difference is that Science stream candidates can apply in CSIR NET exam for earth, life, physical, chemical and mathematical Science subjects, on the other hand arts, commerce and other stream candidates can apply for one of the 81 subjects in UGC NET exam. The minimum eligibility to apply for the NET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks. In my opinion you should choose between Mathematical sciences and Physical sciences. While the Mathematical sciences is most preferred subject for CSIR UGC NET for PG Engineering aspirants.
