According to the CSIR NET exam guidelines, candidates who have completed post-graduation or are in the qualifying year of Masters' degree, are applicable for the exam. So, if you are in the first year of post-graduation, you have to wait for almost one year. CSIR NET exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. To appear for the exam you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks if you are belong to General/OBC category or 50% aggregate marks when you are from SC/ST/PwD category.

To appear in CSIR UGC NET Exam Candidates must have a degree in B.Pharma or BE or B.Tech or M.Sc. Or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other Science degree with at least 55% marks. If you fulfill all the above-mentioned criteria then you can apply for the CSIR NET Exam.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research will conduct the CSIR UGC NET 2019 Exam in July. Be prepared for it.

With B.Tech degree, you are eligible to apply for the CSIR UGC NET exam but only for the Junior Research Fellowship. According to the CSIR NET guidelines, candidates who have qualified the Master's degree or 4-year Graduation degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or are in the qualifying year of the degree can appear for the exam. As per the condition, you have to wait for 1 year to become eligible for the CSIR NET exam. When you are in the final year of B.Tech, can appear for the CSIR NET JRF exam. Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET in Forensic Science. But, according to your educational qualification, it is better that you can apply for the CSIR NET Life Science as well as CSIR NET Chemical Science exam. CSIR NET exam also conducted for the aspirants who wants to become researcher or lecturer.

Yes, you can apply for both UGC NET and CSIR NET exam. As your post graduation subject Geoinformatics is related to the Geography and Earth Science, so you can appear for UGC NET with Geography subject and CSIR NET Earth Science exam. To apply for the exams you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc. If you want to appear for JRF exam then you have to also follow age criteria I. e. For CSIR NET - 28 years (Maximum Age)
For UGC NET 30 Years (Maximum Age)
OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates get the 5 years age relaxation. You can get the detailed information related to exam
