To qualify JRF in management I am here suggesting you a few steps. Go only with the latest syllabus, be strict with what to study or whatnot. No need to do Ph.D. over the topics. Be thorough with the topics and Practice a lot, the more you will practice, the better will be your concepts. Refer the quality study materials for both NTA NET paper 1 and paper2. Paper 1 is easy and scoring, it can fetch you good marks in a short time provide you practice it well, just need the good understanding of fundamentals and a lot of practice. Keep on evaluating your performance. Figure out the weak areas and fix them.

Check the exam pattern well. Try to cover more topics instead of going into too much detail on one topic during preparation. Even if you master one topic extensively, you are only securing less marks in the whole paper. Practice all topics from R. S. Agrawal
Check previous year test papers to know about the important sections for difficult topics. Solve a lot of previous year test papers to take the real feel of the exam. Practice from a good mock test series to check the conceptual clarity. Boost your speed

I am hereby sharing tips to prepare for CSIR NET Physical Science
Attempt less time-consuming questions first as time plays a vital role. Time management is mandatory. Prepare each and every topic in detail as the question can come from anywhere. Make your command over the concepts and must prepare the basic concepts first. Always start from the first page and read each end every point. Keep practicing and improve your weak areas as it is obligatory to eradicate the weak points. Summarize all the points in your mind and don't get confused. Thanks.

Biochemistry: Stryer
Cell biology: Lodish
Molecular biology: Watson
Plant physiology: Taiz
Ecology: Peter Stiling
Developmental Biology: Gilbert

To tackle a boring chapter read the only important sections. Practice a lot of MCQs to the tricks and twists in the questions which may otherwise lead to silly mistakes and negative marking. Solve previous year question papers and mock test pa

Go through with CSIR NET previous year papers. Understand the topics well, questions will be asked from the CSIR NET Syllabus of Life Science only and there are certain questions which are asked just that they are reframed well or repeated such as Geological time scale, Plant ABC model, Vir genes agrobacterium tumifaciens, phytochrome cop vesical role, plant and human disease causal organism, Hardy weinberg
Do not dive in the unnecessary details, focus on the concept and practice relevant questions. Once you are done with easy and important topics you may proceed for the difficult ones. Solve mock test papers and boost your confid

Download the latest and correct syllabus for the exam. Work on the important topics first. As the exam is objective, you are asked the very minor details, so you must study the concepts thoroughly. Solve a variety of questions from CSIR NET Life Science Books, you will not have to memorize things after that. Know the exam pattern and marking scheme well, you should not answer any of the questions about which you are not sure. Make short notes so that you can recall the concept at once only. Solve previous year question papers to know about the exam difficulty level. Work on your speed and accuracy.
