CTET is an acronym used for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and is conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers include a total of 150 MCQs. The first paper consists of questions from the following subjects: Child Development and Pedaogaoy, Language-1 (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The questions in Paper 2 include (four sections) Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Sciences/Social Studies. The maximum number a student can get in Paper 1 is 150.

The duration of Central Teacher Eligibility Test ( CTET) 2024 is two hours and 30 minutes. The examination is a multiple choice question (MCQ) type. With - +1 marks for each correction answers. 0 marks for each wrong answer. 0 marks for each unattempted question. The total number of questions are 150 each ( Paper 1 and Paper 2). While the entire Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)examination focuses equally on all five subjects.
