Though NCERT books are good for understanding the basic concepts of the CTET syllabus, there are other best books available for CTET exam preparation as well. Apart from studying NCERT books, candidates should refer other CTET best books and previous years' papers books to boost their exam preparations.

No, practicing only CTTE question papers and sample papers will not help in exam preparation. Candidates must study every topic prescribed in the CTET syllabus through various books. Once done, candidates should then start attempting CTET question papers, sample papers and mock tests.

Candidates can prepare for CTET in 10 days, given that they devote each and every minute towards the exam preparation. Firstly, understand the CTET exam pattern and syllabus well. Spend more time on topics that you are less confident with. Attempt at least two CTET question papers daily in the last one week of the exam.

1. Selective NCERT for subjects like social Science
2. Arihant Publication for Child Development and Pedagogy
3. You can refer to the Arihant Publication book for language papers like Hindi as well.
4. For English and Pedagogy section you can refer to the book of Pearson Publication
5. For environmental studies, you can refer to EVS, NCERT, or Wiley Publications.
