The exam conducting body, Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE fixes the CTET selection process. The CTET is a national-level eligibility exam conducted by the CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teacher of Classes 1 to 8. No, You need to pass both the papers of the respective examination to be considered Pass. If you are unable to appear for the first paper, You can attempt both the papers in next attempt. However, passing single paper does not qualify you for the examination.

You need to choose subject according to your qualification. Just choose the subject, which is according to you your qualification, because you have to pursue your job according to your qualification. I would recommend choosing your subjects according to your strength in a particular subject.

Hello,
The minimum passing marks required in order to become eligible in CTET for OBC category are 55% (82.5/150). Hence you are eligible for government's teaching jobs. Further, the validity of CTET mark sheet is valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of the result. Hence there is no need to do CTET again.
