The CTET eligibility criteria differ for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Some of the basic requirements to fulfil CTET eligibility criteria for Paper 1 is passing 12 examinations with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks and Paper 2 is completing graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks. Candidates should go through the detailed eligibility criteria before filling out the CTET application form.

The exam conducting body, Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE fixes the CTET selection process. The CTET is a national-level eligibility exam conducted by the CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teacher of Classes 1 to 8. Candidates need to bring only one copy of the CTET admit card to the exam centre. However, candidates can bring two printouts of the admit cards to the CTET exam centre, in a safe place.

No, there is no need to get the CTET admit card attested. Candidates need to bring the non-attested printout of the CTET admit card to the examination centres. Candidates need to report at the CTET exam centre at 7:30 am for first shift and at 12:30 pm for second shift, that is, 120 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

If there are some errors in your CTET admit card regarding the photograph and signature or any other information, you can get it corrected or rectified by containing the CTET Unit, CBSE. Candidates can contact the CTET Unit at 011-22235774/ 011-22240112 or you can write to:
Deputy Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE. PS1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, DELHI-110092.

You need to carry your CTET admit card to the exam centre along with a photo ID proof and passport size photo. The photo ID proof can be PAN card or Voter ID card or Passport or Driving License or Aadhaar Card. If a candidate forgets to carry his or her admit card and ID proof to the CTET exam centre, he or she will not be allowed to enter the centre. Candidates are required to download their admit cards, take a print out of it and carry it to the exam centre.

In such a case, you can download and take a printout of the CTET admit card again from a nearby cyber cafe. It may be noted that candidates who forget to carry the printout of their admit cards will not be allowed to enter the CTET exam centre or take the exam. The CTET admit card is an important document that carries details regarding the exam. Candidates need to carry their admit cards along with one photo ID proof to the exam centre.

In such a scenario, check your internet connection and re-login to your account and try downloading the CTET admit card again. If the problem persists, contact the CTET exam authorities at 011-22240112, 22240108, 22240107 and 22247154 on working days between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. You can also try the following measures:
Make sure that you have a smooth and secure internet connection to download the CTET admit card. Ensure that you have entered the correct application number and password while logging in to your account. Clear your browser cache and cookies and try downloading the admit card again. No, CBSE does not issue the hard copy of the CTET admit card to any candidate. You have to download the admit card from the official website of the exam. It is advisable that candidates should take multiple printouts of the CTET admit card for future reference. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card or difficulty in downloading it, candidates should contact the CTET Unit immediately.
