There is no limit to the number of attempts the CTET exam. Candidates falling within the CBSE-prescribed age limit can appear for the exam for any number of times. As per CTET eligibility criteria, candidates should be of minimum 18 years of age and there is no upper age limit. The upper age limit is prescribed by the recruiting agency at the time of recruitment after the candidate qualifies the CTET exam.

CTET exam is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration for each paper. The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts on each exam date. The CTET Shift 1 starts from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 is from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The examination is conducted online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode in each shift. Candidates need to be present for the complete shift.

Yes, it is compulsory to attempt questions from both languages sections of the CTET examination. The Language-I and Language-II sections are different and are compulsory in nature. Candidates need to attempt both the sections while giving the exam. Each Language section carries 30 marks and 30 multiple choice questions (MCQs). .

The CTET admit card is generally released two days prior to the exam date. The CTET admit card is released in two phases- pre-admit card and main admit card. The CTET pre-admit card is released to make candidates aware of the exam date and city. The main CTET admit card contains the exact exam schedule such as exam date, exam time, reporting time, exam centre name and address, exam day instructions and others. Candidates need to carry their admit cards to CTET exam centres.

CBSE releases CTET results within six weeks of the conduct of the exam. The CBSE publishes the CTET result on the official website, CTET. Nic. In. Candidates will be able to check their CTET result and download the scorecard along with the cut-off marks in an online mode. The marksheet for the CTET 2023 exam will be made available in the Digi locker.

Yes, CTET 2024 exam is held on a single day. The exam is held in two shifts on each day. The first shift (9:30 AM-12 Noon) is conducted for CTET Paper 1, and the second shift (2:30-5:00 PM) for CTET Paper 2. In January 2021 and 2022, the CTET exam was not conducted on a single day. The CTET exam was held on multiple days and in multiple shifts as the exam was held online as Computer Based Test (CBT). Before that until 2020, the CTET exam was conducted on a single day in two shifts.

The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is held in Shift 2 and Paper 2 in Shift 1. The shift 1 (CTET Paper 2) is held from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 (CTET Paper 1) from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The allotted CTET shift timing is intimated to candidates through their admit cards. Candidates need to appear for the CTET exam as per the shift timings mentioned on their respective admit cards.

The CTET 2025 registration will start with the release of official notification. The CTET application form 2025 will have to be filled online. Applicants need to first register for the CTET 2025 exam and then go on to fill out the CTET online form 2025. The online application process is incomplete without the examination fee. Candidates need to pay the CTET application fee 2025 for successful submission of the form.
