The syllabus for CTET Paper 2 consists of four sections. (a) Section 1: 30 questions based on child development and pedagogy, each worth one mark. (b) Section 2 and Section 3: Language 1 and Language 2 each consist of 30 questions worth one mark. (c) Section 4: You will have to attempt any one of the following sections: mathematics and Science, or social Science. Depending on which section you selected during the application, you have to answer 60 questions from that section. The topics are as follows:

1. After you clear the CTET a Certificate will be issued to you. You can apply for all central government teaching posts, including NVS, Army Schools, and DSSSB with it.
2. You can also apply for state government teaching vacancies across India with the CTET score.
3. Many private schools also prefer CTET-qualified candidates for their teaching posts.
4. You can also work as a contract teacher at many government and non-government schools.

2. Students appearing in B.Ed.
3. Candidates appearing in any other teaching course recognised by NCTE
These can also apply to the CTET exam. However, you need to complete your course by the time you apply for a teaching post.
