The CTET exam is a teacher eligibility test, and qualifying for the CTET makes you eligible to apply for government schools. You can apply for vacancies in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVS) and other government schools. Qualifying for CTET is mandatory for teaching posts at government schools such as NVS. You can apply for TGT in primary and PGT in upper primary classes. You cannot get a direct job after qualifying for CTET but you can apply for a permanent government teaching job.

If you are graduating with a BNA and pursuing a D. El. Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education), you can choose a Science subject in the CTET's (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) second paper. The CTET scorecard is the minimum requirement for eligibility for a central government teaching job. It is like a bonus for your profile. After the CTET scorecard is released, candidates can apply for all central government teaching jobs like KVS, NVS Army Teacher, ERDO, etc. I hope this will help you.
