Hi,
Minimum CTET Qualifications for Primary Stage Teacher
Candidates need to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for CTET exam if they want to become a teacher for Class I-V. Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
or
Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. or

As per UGC NET information bulletin-2018, there is no need to CTET or any other courses for NET exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test. Your choosing option depends on your stream in Diploma/degree in education. If you are Science stream student, you must opt maths & Science and on other hand, if you are a arts/humanity stream student, you are eligible for second one.

The criteria for CTET exam is different for different level class teacher's post! If you want to teacher of class V to class VIII, then B.Ed is compulsory!
