The structure of CUET with respect to the 2025 academic session has changed by UGC. One prominent change is the simplification in terms of shedding off subjects from the examination, with the number reduced from 63 to just 37.It therefore focuses on streamlining and emphasizing core subjects so that students spend less on subjects. Up to this date, candidates had to choose from among six subjects but may now choose up to five subjects. This would mean a better subject choice for students as they would be able to choose them based on their planned study; however, one major thing is the mode of conducting those tests now, fully switching

Yes, it does not have to be a similar subject in CUET as 12th standard. For example, while Core and Applied Mathematics both are mostly treated as being the same for DU, it's always better to check eligibility criteria for courses and colleges. Some programmes may require specific subjects; hence, it is wise to consult the official admission guidelines for DU or contact its admissions office for confirmation.

With 300 marks in the CUET exam, admission to a college under Delhi University (DU) for B.Sc Zoology would be challenging because the cutoff scores of DU are generally high, especially for popular programs like Zoology. The cutoff varies every year with the number of applicants and the performance of the exams.

The students can appear for CUET UG Economics, providing a background in Humanities also. The Common University Entrance Test, or CUET, allows the students, as well as students of diverse disciplines, including Humanities, to get through the test of subject Economics. The only essential thing is that candidates ought to check out eligibility requirements for the particular university, or course one applies. Since Economics forms a part of the curriculum in Humanities, you should prepare well for the exam focusing on microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistical methods that are common in high school economics curricula.

For CUET humanities, various books are recommended in preparation to cover different parts of the exam. General knowledge can be covered from "General Knowledge" by Manohar Pandey and improvements in English can be taken through "Objective General English" by S.P. Bakshi.

Your chances of being admitted to a Delhi University (DU) college with a CUET score of 440 may vary depending on the course and particular college cutoffs. Cutoffs are typically higher for popular courses like B.A. (Hons.) in areas like English, Political Science, or Economics. But depending on the number of seats available and the level of competition, some courses might have lower cutoffs, and you might have a shot. For a more accurate evaluation, it is best to verify the particular college cutoffs as soon as they are announced.

A CUET score of 450 is probably competitive for admission to Assam University's BA program, though this will vary by course and category. Candidates are ranked by Assam University according to their CUET results, preferences, and category reservations in distinct merit lists for each course. During the application process, carefully consider your course options to increase your chances. Once the CUET results are available, you can apply using their online admissions page.
