No, you can't get admission directly in the university as you have to fight the entrance exams in each category while it depends upon course to course for example in B.Sc couse we need to fight for the cuet  then candidate must have an aggregate of 50% or more to have the admission eligibility for the college. The cutoff of CUHP varies for different categories and programmes. There are various key factors that play an important role in determining the Central University of Himachal Pradesh cut off scores for admission to various programmes. The cutoff for Central University of Himachal Pradesh depends on the previous year's cutoff trends, the total number of participants who have applied for admission to the university, the total number of seats available for admission to a particular course, and the difficulty level of the entrance exam, candidate's score in the qualifying exam. CUHP accepts CUET UG and CUET PG exam scores for admission to a few undergraduate and postgraduate courses. CUHP CUET cutoff 2023 has not released yet. However, considering the past year trends, CUHP cutoff ranged between 81.42 and 327.25 for UG courses. 

Candidates, who have applied for admission to various Central University of Himachal Pradesh programmes can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online on the official website of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Find below the steps to download CUHP CUET cutoff 2024:Visit the official website page of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (hpuniv.ac.in). Click on the 'Entrance Cell' tab.  Now select the merit lists option from the dropdown menu.A list of notifications related to UG, PG and PhD programmes will appear on the next page. To check the latest merit list, click on the notifications from the mentioned list.The merit list will be displayed in PDF format on the next page.

For admission to CUHP, students need to take the CUET entrance exam. Aspirants need to visit the official website of NTA CUET and register themselves to generate login credentials. With the credentials, fill an online application form with all the required details such as educational qualification, university/ course selection, test paper details, choosing the examination cities, and uploading the images and documents. The next is to upload all the scanned documents in the prescribed format and complete the application process by paying an adequate amount of application fee. Further, after CUET result declaration, the central university opens registration window on its samarth portal. Candidates have to register on it, upload their CUET scorecard or enter marks following which selection list is released.
