CAT (Common Entrance Test) is conducted by IIMs for their Management programs like PGPX and PGP and the eligibility criteria is graduation in any stream with minimum 50% of marks. Further CAT score is accepted by all leading Business schools. Hence, on the basis of CAT-2019 you cannot take admission in M.Sc. Or B.Tech programs. Now the eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Photonics is Bachelors degree in Physics and Mathematics, Applied Physics or Electronics. Whereas, admission in most of the engineering colleges for B.Tech programs are based on JEE-Main/JEE-Advance ranks or their own entrance test.
