Looking at the previous-year General All-India CUSAT CAT ranks for BTech, there is a less chance of getting into the programme with a rank of 12,000. Candidates can get a seat but not in top specialisations like Computer Science Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, etc. Students must secure a rank under 1,000 to get a seat in the preffered BTech specialisation at CUSAT.Check CUSAT CAT college predictor

CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.

Yes, the college has achieved remarkable placements over the past few years. During 2022 placements, 82% of the PG (2-year) and 92% of the PG (3-year) batches were placed.
