CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.

As per CUSAT MBA cutoff 2023, the closing rank for Cochin University of Science and Technology MBA course stood at 83 for Al Inida General category students. For cutoff 2022, the overall closing rank for CUSAT MBA was 76. On cutoff trend analysis, CUSAT has witnessed an increase since 2022.
