Microbiology entrance exam, the key topics include bacteriology, microbial diversity, host-pathogen interactions, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, virology, and biotechnology. Mathematics is not a part of the syllabus. The exam focuses on core microbiology concepts, analytical techniques, and related sciences like biochemistry and molecular biology. The normalisation procedure depends on the number of shifts and difficulty level of the exam. Candidates must know that normalisation process will be applicable if the CUSAT CAT exam is conducted in multiple shift and all shifts were found to have different level. If the CUSAT CAT exam is conducted in only one shift or the difficulty level of all the shifts is same, Then there will be no scope for normalisation.
