You still need a college degree (graduation) to get a B.Ed even if you have teaching experience and a D.Ed. Think of it like this:D.Ed is a shorter course that qualifies you to teach younger children (like in daycare or preschool).B.Ed is a longer programme with more teaching skills and knowledge, so you can teach in more schools (like middle or high school).  Even with experience, a B.Ed opens more doors.

In India, there is currently no technical difference between D.Ed and D.El.Ed courses. Both acronyms stand for Diploma in Education and refer to the same teacher training programme for elementary school education. The use of D.El.Ed was more common in the past, while D.Ed is the current preferred term. However, some institutions and official documents may still use either term interchangeably.

Yes, the duration of the DEd programme varies from one to three years,  depending on one institute to another. You can select the college/university that offers the programme for one year.

Yes, you can do so by pursuing DEd in regular mode and BA or any other Bachelor programme in distance mode or vice-versa. As per UGC guidelines, one course has to be pursued in regular mode whereas the other course can be pursued in distance mode.  Most of the D.Ed courses which are accepted across schools for recruitment purposes are full-time in nature. The new UGC guidelines therefore give flexibility to students to pursue graduation course in distance in order to continue their higher studies after Class 12th.Hope this information proves beneficial for you!
