Yes, you can do so by pursuing DEd in regular mode and BA or any other Bachelor programme in distance mode or vice-versa. As per UGC guidelines, one course has to be pursued in regular mode whereas the other course can be pursued in distance mode.  Most of the D.Ed courses which are accepted across schools for recruitment purposes are full-time in nature. The new UGC guidelines therefore give flexibility to students to pursue graduation course in distance in order to continue their higher studies after Class 12th.

Hi,DEd or Diploma in Education is a certificate-level teacher training programme that equips candidates to become nursery school teachers.Admission to the DEd programme is usually offered based on candidates’ performance in the written entrance test conducted at the university/ institute level.
