Yes, you are eligible for D.Ed. As the eligibility criteria for this course is:
Candidates who are willing to take admission in D.Ed. Must have passed 10+2 Intermediate Examination from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). So if you have completed your 12th you can take admission.

If you have done your Masters degree relevant to of which subject you want to work as an assistant professor with having more marks than 55% than contact to universities directly in which you are looking forward and according to ucg from 2023 onwards Ph.D. is going to mandatory for join as assistant professor.

Yes you can do D.Ed from distance but it's not valid for government jobs.
